Our Story
Quickzonedesk started in 2018 when three food enthusiasts noticed a gap in London's gift market. People wanted alternatives to traditional flowers - something fresh, edible, and visually appealing. We began experimenting with fruit arrangements in a small kitchen in Pimlico, testing different combinations of strawberries, grapes, melons, and pineapples.
The first year taught us about seasonality, sourcing, and customer preferences. We learned which fruits hold their shape best, how to prevent browning, and what arrangements work for different occasions. By 2019, we had established relationships with three local suppliers and moved to our current location on Grosvenor Road.
Today, we prepare 150-200 arrangements weekly. Each one uses fruits selected that morning from Covent Garden Market and New Spitalfields. Our team of six includes trained food handlers and a designer who previously worked in hotel catering. We maintain temperature-controlled storage at 2-4°C and complete most orders within 24 hours.
What Drives Us
We focus on consistency and food safety. Every arrangement follows documented procedures - washing protocols, cutting standards, assembly sequences. Our workspace meets FSA Level 5 hygiene rating requirements, with separate areas for preparation and packaging.
